To Peter's family, I offer my deepest sympathy. He was my Ham mentor in high school and I spent many hours with him both at his shack and on trips to Sugar Loaf Bluff in Southern Minnesota. We did make the cover of CQ Magazine back in 1960 in a photo taken by John Luce, now W0WY who was another of Peters high school pals.

Peter found & filled a wonderful niche in electronics. His name was synonomous with high quality.

Put simply, this man was to Amateur Radio what DELCO was to Automobiles.
He will be missed.
RIP OM.

By the tone of the expressions it's quite clear that Peter was a wonderful person. Though I have had no contacts with Pete, it would have been very rewarding to have had at least one. I've had numerous QSOs with ham operators, that from their tone, patience and manner you can discern a great human being behind that mike. From the Caribbean, 73 excellent colleague. KP4RAY

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Peter's passing. He produced excellent designs and quality transformers. I've got a couple of his transformers in my VHF and UHF amplifiers and they've given excellent service since day one.
Rest In Peace Peter. 73, Phil.
