Ada C. Newsome

Ada Newsome was born on September 9, 1945, in Washington, NC. She was called back to God on December 23, 2014. Ada married and moved to El Paso, TX where she received her nursing license and raised her two children. She was an active member of the church community and was always willing to help in any way she could. She strongly believed in education for herself, children, and grandchildren. Ada leaves to mourn two daughters, Betty Ezenwa and Phyllis Denise Coronado. Also mourning are her brothers: Anthony B. Rogers, Joseph L. Rogers, Elroy Rogers, and Johnny R. Rogers; her sisters: Gloria M. Gumbs, Evelyn V. Smith, Nettie Davis, and Audrey C. Ridley. She leaves behind six grandchildren and a plethora of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00PM on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A Graveside Service will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
