Andres Cadena, age 81, passed away on November 27, 2013 in El Paso, Texas. He was born on November 30, 1931 in Brackettville, Texas. He is survived by his wife Margaret Cadena and 8 children; Ruben, Anita, David and wife Stephanie, Angie and husband Tony, Michael, Robert and wife Melinda, Barbara, Adrianna; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sister Julia Arredondo, brothers Manuel, Geronimo, Marcelino, Jose and Aurelio. He is preceded in death by his father Jose Cadena, mother Gabriela Alonzo Cadena and brother Antonio. He was a loving husband, father and brother. He served honorably in the US Army for 24 years and was a selfless role model to all who encountered him. We miss you and will always remember you in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM- 9:00PM with a Rosary to begin at 6:30PM followed by Reflections on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast on 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, TX 79904. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 1:00PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Dr, El Paso, TX 79904. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
