Betty Jane Willson

May 13, 1939 — March 18, 2015

Our beautiful and beloved Betty Jane Willson went to be with the Lord on the 18th of March, 2015. She was a solid rock and a beacon of love to all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She was preceded into Heaven by her mother and father, Richard McAvoy and Hannah Lee, her brothers Richard and Bobby McAvoy, her first husband Walt Lazdowski, her second husband Allen Willson, and her son Walter Lazdowski. She is survived by her brother Eddie McAvoy, son Mark Lazdowski, daughter Robin Lee Lazdowski, grandchildren Tanya Mounsey, Walter Lazdowski, Mark Lazdowski, Sam Lazdowski, Alyssa Rivas, Johnnathon Lazdowski-Macaw, Ben Lazdowski, and ten great-grandchildren. We invite you to join us in celebrating Betty's life at a Visitation on Wednesday the 25th of March from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and Funeral service on Thursday the 26th of March from 9:30 am-10:30 am at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East. Please visit our online registry at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
