Bobby Joe Polson

Bobby Joe Polson passed away November 25, 2014. He was born on January 16, 1935 in Durant, OK to Amos and Nova Polson. He married the love of his life Dora Mary on December 19, 1969. Retired from the army as a M-SGT after 30 years of service. He was preceeded in death by his wife Dora; and brother Harold G. Polson and both parents. Mr. Polson leaves behind son, James Prater and wife Vicky; sister Exie Nicholas of Wichita Falls, TX; brother Haskell Polson of Colgate, OK; daughter Terri Polson of Hudson, TX; daughter Janet Anderson and husband John of Aurora, IL; daughter, Sherri Stark and husband Ron of Lake Holiday, IL. He has ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Special thanks to Carmen Guitard; Sammy and Flo Boles, and the staff at Ambrosio Guillen Veterans Home for the loving care. A Prayer Service will begin at 8:30 AM on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service to follow at 9:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
