Clarence Lee Curl

Clarence Lee Curl died November 10, 2017. He was born February 27, 1925 in San Antonio Texas to Herbert Clarence and Hattye Lee May Curl. Clarence served in the Navy in World War II. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a resident of El Paso since 1968. He is preceded in death by his second wife, Andrea (andi) P. Curl. Clarence is survived by his two sons, and their families. They are, son Steve and daughter-in-law Kathleen Jimerson Curl; grandsons, James Alan Curl, Charles Austin Curl and Mathew Ryan Curl; son Mike and daughter-in-law Dona Holderman Curl; grandson, Samuel Levi Curl and granddaughter Maya Michelle Curl. In addition, a sister-in-law Doris Howe Curl of Georgetown, Texas and niece Antoinette Lee Ann Curl of Austin, Texas survives him. During his professional engineering career, Chance Vought Aircraft Company, Sandia Corporation, the Martin Company and the Department of the Army at White Sands Missile Range employed him. He retired from White Sands Missile Range in 1988. Clarence was an avid genealogist with two internet web sites devoted to his research. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and Patrol Craft Sailors Association.
