Concepcion H. Trujillo, lifelong resident of Socorro Texas and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend left peacefully to join our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, January 10, 2014. She was devoted to her faith and served the congregation of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Born September 11, 1910, she lived to celebrate her 103rd centenarian birthday. A farmer’s wife and mother of 9, she was a book of virtues, the foundation for 5 generations. She was famous for her cooking, storytelling, singing, fortitude, and her high spirited outlook. Mom could capture the hearts of everyone she met. Preceded in death by her husband; Edwardo, two sons; Ernesto and Eddie, sisters; Bernardita and Angela Anita, brothers; Jose Maria, Miguel and Liberato. Survived and loved by her children; Miguel, Carlos (Amparo), daughters Rose Webster, Margaret Hall, Maria Garcia (Joe), Conchita Hernandez (Alfred), Becky Castillo (Joe) and Herlinda Hernandez, 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and her sister Jesusita Villegas. “Mom, we will miss you all the days of our lives. Rest in Peace and sing with the Angels.” Visitation: 4:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday January 15, 2014 with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Road. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at La Purisima Mission Catholic Church. Interment: Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Trujillo Jr., Mark Trujillo, Carlos Trujillo Jr., Eddie Trujillo, Andy Ramos, Frank Webster III, Guy Hall III, Fred Marquez Jr., Steve Garcia, Joseph Castillo, Andres Hernandez and Tony Hernandez Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Eli Trujillo, and Olandra Martinez.
