David Espejo Baggao, beloved brother and devoted son to Teresita E. Baggao and the late Dominador A. Baggao, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in El Paso, Texas.
He follows his father to be with God and family once again. His surviving family includes his mother Teresita of El Paso; brother Dan and wife Nancy of Roswell, NM; sisters, Marian McCall and husband Robert of El Paso, Jane Baggao and husband Michael Eckbauer of Albuquerque, NM, Ann of El Paso, Irene of Tacoma, WA, Angie of Austin; Auntie Teresita A. Baggao of Livermore, CA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was born on Tuesday, December 19, 1967, in Columbus, GA, while the family was stationed at Ft. Benning. A resident of El Paso for most of his life, David had interests in martial arts, photography (earning a lifetime achievement award as a free-lance photographer), listening to music and playing guitar, drawing dragons and mystical creatures. He enjoyed cooking (especially cookies which his family looked forward to), watching sports (Go Cowboys!), and beating his brother at backgammon. He was our Information Technology specialist at home.
David always had a kind word for his friends and family, and touched the lives of all who knew him – a gentle spirit who will be greatly missed. His laughter, his dimpled smile and his soft eyes will be in our memories forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lymphatic Education and Research Network. Salamat po!
