Doris J. Rittmann

Doris Rittmann was welcomed into her heavenly home on Wednesday, February, March 21, 2018 in El Paso, TX at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. George and Gladys Rittmann; sister,Trudy Rittmann Wolterstorff and brother, Douglas Rittmann. She is survived by her children: Jenny, Christopher and Bridgett Alden; grandson, Ferris Alden; brother, Jerrold Rittmann and nieces/nephews: Cheryl, Brian, Evan, and Jeaniece Rittmann, Miles Hume and Sheri (Hume) Yepes. She was an English and Business teacher for the Ysleta Independent School District for 7 years and an English and Reading teacher and Guidance Counselor in the Socorro Independent School District for 24 years. Her lifetime passion was her love of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord in Heaven. Services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our Redeemer, 2500 George Dieter, El Paso, TX 79936 with visitation preceding the service from 9:30-10:00. Pastor Dan Baumler will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery – East 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938. Arrangements made by Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N.
