Elena P. Solis

Elena P. Solis, 85, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2014. She is survived by her children, Annabelle Betancourt (Alfonso), David Solis (Patsy), Stephanie Solis and grandson, Patrick Solis. She is also survived by her brothers, Willie Perez, Sr. (Irene), Ernesto Perez (Martha), Gilbert Perez, Sr. (Carmen) and Arturo Perez (Gloria) as well as several nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in-law. Elena was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Solis, her sister, Lucia P. Lujan and her parents, Jose and Gertrudis Perez. She was a life long resident of San Elizario, Texas and was a member of the Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. A Funeral Mass will be said at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at San Elizario Catholic Church, located at 1556 San Elizario Rd. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
