Evangelina Peralta

Evangelina Peralta, 87, passed away Sunday night, September 3, 2017, in company of her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a mother of 19 children, 10 survived, 45 grandchildren, 116 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren. At the beginning of her young life she was a nurse in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico until she married and moved to California where she lived for 28 years. She was a very loving, caring and giving woman. Married to her husband Edmundo Peralta for 38 years. She loved writing poems and accomplished to create her own special book for her loved ones to always treasure. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones. May she now rest at ease reunited with her husband, three sons, daughter and many more loved ones in Heaven. We love you always and we will continue to keep our family bond strong and forever keep your memory alive. Peralta/ Valenciano Family Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 8, 2017, at Santa Lucia Catholic Church, 518 Gallagher. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
