Evelyn Maria Espinoza

Evelyn Maria Espinoza (Suarez), born on January 1, 1962, passed away on the evening of December 8, 2013 at 51 years of age. Evelyn was born in Cayey, P.R. and was raised in El Paso, TX. She married in 1983 and later moved to Norfolk, VA where her son Elijah was born. She later moved to Gulfport, MS. She lived there for many years before returning to El Paso. Evelyn enjoyed her time working as a phlebotomist. She also had a special place in her heart for the Humane Society, where she volunteered and rescued her dog. Evelyn was a fun, friendly and loving person who always went out of her way to show she cared about people. She was free spirited and lived each day to the fullest. Her son Elijah was her pride and joy and the most important person in her life. His health and happiness was more important to her than anything else. She always spoke of him with her heart full of love. All who knew Evelyn loved her and will miss her. She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. Evelyn is survived by her loving son Elijah Espinoza, her parents Roberto R.Suarez Sr. and Maria T. Suarez, brother Jeff, sister Wanda, brother-in-law Jim, nephews Matthew and Jacob, niece Kiara, and ex-husband Pedro Edmundo. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/ Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will be private. A reception will be held imediately following mass at the home of Tere Suarez, 4521 Loma de Plata, El Paso, Texas 79934. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
