Gerda B. Maxwell

The Lord has called his beautiful daughter, Gerda B Maxwell, to heaven on February 11, 2015. Gerda was 73 years old, born and raised in Duxlanden, Germany and moved to the United States in 1962 with her first husband Captain David E. Brink. She possessed an incredible spirit and class that will forever be remembered. The fierce determination she had to rise against in all of life's challenges will never be overlooked. Gerda left her touch on the lives of so many, her loss will be profound. As a mother, daughter, Nana, sister, wife and friend there could be no better. There are no words that can capture the love she had for her family and friends. The many loved ones she left behind were husband, Wade Maxwell; son, Ron Brink; daughters, Trisha Alessandra and Elona Cruz; her beloved pet, Reese; sister, Inga Antone; brother, Peter Kornmann and her dear loyal friends Anne Brown and Elfie Potts. Gerda was a local Realtor for Century 21 APD as well as an admissions representative for the International Business Collage. Gerda provided dream homes as well as educational advantages for many local El Pasoans. We will never fully recover from her loss. We will treasure all the moments we had with her. With heavy steps we now make this journey without her wonderful physical presence in this life and look forward to the day we reunite with her in heaven. May her spirit find the glorious peaceful place it so justly deserves. Services in her honor will be held on March 15, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Homes, 9521 N.
