Gina Marie Tokoph, 48, of El Paso, Texas entered eternal life on November 13, 2017.
Her passionate and fiery spirit was born on January 3, 1969 in Park Ridge, Illinois. As the daughter of the late Aviation Entrepreneur, David Tokoph and step-mother Denise Tokoph, Gina traveled the world growing up in various parts of the globe before settling down in El Paso.
With her loving, humane nature toward animals, that same benevolent spirit entered into service with the U.S. Military, where she served as a Combat Medic treating the wounded in the First Gulf War; earning her the National Defense Service Medal and numerous meritorious awards and certificates. After the war she was stationed at Walter Reed Army Hospital, where in her last year of service she had the honor of treating First Lady Barbara Bush.
