Guadalupe (Lupita) G. Curless, 76, entered into eternal life on December 17, 2014. A lifelong El Paso resident, born May, 17,1938, Lupita was married to Charles N. Curless for 21 amazing years. A loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother nothing gave her greater pleasure than family, flowers, and Cowboys football. A proud "Bowie Bear" she was a head cheer leader and the 1957 Bowie Fiesta Queen. She retired from the El Paso Independent School District as a high school business agent after thirty years of service. Preceded in death by her mother Jesusita and father Ignacio Gonzalez, sister Jessica Gonzalez, and daughter Gloria Morse; there will be special angels lifting her to the kingdom of heaven. She is survived by her husband Charles; two sisters, Blanche Villegas and Linda Wilde of El Paso; brother, Nick Gonzalez of San Antonio, Children Patrick Ramirez and Lisa Kelch of El Paso; stepchildren, Charles M. Curless of Crockett, Texas; Duane and Jeffrey Curless of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and blessed with eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Pall bearers will be Patrick Ramirez, Jeffrey and Matthew Morse, Daniel Kelch, Reginald Robinson, Chance Ramirez, Margie La Puma, and David Valdez. Ushers will be Edward La Puma and Sergio Baca. Lupita" Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass to begin at 9:30am on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiated by Father Ben Flores.
