Israel J. Goldman ( January 28, 1928 - December 13, 2014) beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gertrud, two daughters Stephanie and Margaret, six grandchildren Brian, Andy, Rachel, Davita, Nathan, and Matthew, two great-grandchildren Ivy and Gabriel. He was a dedicated soldier of WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam.
During retirement, Jack was an avid volunteer for veterans’ assistance and library help. Born in New York City, but a native El Pasoan at heart, he has lived here most of his life.
The greatest joys in his life were his wife as number one, his pets, his obsession with the NY Giants and playing as many slots as he could.
His family and anyone who met him would say he was a man of integrity. We the family, firsthand, want to thank the hard-working staff at the William Beaumont dialysis ward for their continuous, wonderful care. We also know Jack would want to thank Dr. Quirate at the VA Center for 20 years of attention. Thanks also to the staff at Sierra Medical Center for the loving care he got in his last days.
