James Merrill Ackley

James Merrill Ackley, born in New York to Merrill and Lois Larsh Ackley June 14, 1932. Left with cherished memories are his wife Loretta, son James and daughter Rosemary Mielke. His family also lovingly included Naomi Ackley, grandchildren Katie Ackley, Lauren, Samuel, Ryan and Laureen Mielke. He was a proud, caring, and loving foster father of many pre-adoptive infants. He was also always ready to help anyone fix a car, repair a bike, and take a senior on a Saturday outing! The help he gave in his old hometown of Levittown New York and here in El Paso was returned to him thru Gods grace. With appreciation to staff at Las Palmas hospital, Hospice of El Paso, and to all friends and neighbors who also walked this journey with him.
