Jose J. "Pepe" Priego

Jose "Pepe" J. Priego, Life-long resident, Marine Corps Veteran and retired Corporal of El Paso passed away November 16, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by his father, Ramon Priego Sr. and his loving wife, Maria Haydee Priego and survived by his mother, Isela Hernandez Priego and children: JJ (Jacquie), Michael (Veronica) and Steven (Laurie), his grandchildren: Alex and Julian; and his grand-dog Lainey. He is also survived by his two brothers: Ramon Priego Jr. and Rogelio Priego; five sisters: Margarita Gurrola, Lucy Atilano, Lupe Herrera, Isabel Marshall and Irma Rodriguez; and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m., with a Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home - East, 750 N. Carolina. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
