Josefina E. Aguirre

April 7, 1930 — November 13, 2013

Josefina Aguirre, wife, mother, grandmother,, great-grandmother and friend has blessed us with love and cherished memories. She was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and served her community through prayer and service. She loved her "Riverside Rangers" and faithfully attended every Friday night game. She loved her family and always encouraged education and excellence in our personal and professional lives. Preceded in death by her daughter; Norma Aguirre, sisters; Dolores Martinez and Herlinda Padilla. Mrs. Aguirre is survived by her loving husband; Vicente Aguirre, sons; Jesus R. Aguirre (Elsa), Carlos Aguirre (Leticia), daughters; Laura Cruz (David), Patricia Alarcon, Alicia Huerta (Sergio), sisters; Carmen Renteria, Rosa Ramirez, Margarita Cuaron, and grandchildren; Christina, Dionne, Carlos, Stefanie, Ericka, Michael, Danny, Joseph, Joshua and Steven, great-grandchildren; Shelby, Ayden, Izabella, Ellexia and Harper. We will see you again but for now you will remain in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 4-5:30pm Friday, November 15, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-East and from 6-9 pm with a vigil at 7 pm at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa. Funeral Mass will be at 9 am Saturday, November 16, 2013 also at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic. Internment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
