Joseph R.O. Arseneau

Joseph R. Omer Arseneau, Major (Retired) died peacefully and unexpectedly on December 15, 2014 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his parents Yvonne and Alexander Arseneau and brothers, Paul and Marcel Arseneau. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Jean; his three daughters: Julie Arseneau, Michele Arseneau, and Carolyn Arseneau Mason and husband Larry Mason; and his only grandchild, Rachel Mason. He is also survived by his sister Evelyn Schroder and various nieces and nephews. Joseph was born on October 24, 1932 in Berlin, New Hampshire. He graduated from Norte Dame High School in 1950. He married Jean McMillan on December 7, 1957 after graduating from Office Candidate School He spent 25 years serving his country in the United States Army. After he retired in El Paso, Texas he had several successful business ventures. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30am on Friday, December 19, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church (Chapel #2 Fort Bliss, Texas). Committal Service will follow at 10:30am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
