Joseph John Protextor

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on July 30, 2017. Joe was born in El Paso, TX on December 4, 1933. He loved the Southwest living in El Paso, Las Cruces, and California. He is survived by his loving wife Elisa, his bride of 53 years. Joe is also survived by his 8 children; Oscar, David, Steve, Henry, Freddy, Michael, Diana, Rosemary, as well as multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren whom will surely miss his love and devotion. Joe loved and lived life to the fullest and his warm smile and caring attitude toward all who knew him will be missed. Visitation will be held on Monday August 7, 2017 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM with Holy Rosary at 10:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:15AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Dr. Interment will be held at 1:30PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
