Leticia Esther Gomez De Hernandez

Leticia E. Gomez de Hernandez, age 70, born in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. She was the beloved wife of her late husband Arturo G. Hernandez and daughter of the late Raul and Elisa Gomez. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Hernandez and Rebecca Moreno; son in law, Joe Moreno; and beloved grandchildren, Arturo and Gabriel. She is also survived by her three loving sisters Maria Guadalupe Solis (Saul), Rosa E. Gomez and Evangelina Cantu (Hugo); and nieces and nephews, Laura Roig, Saul Solis Jr., Marisa Leone, Hugo, Adriana, Raul and Cecilia Cantu. She was an instinctively exceptional cook and enjoyed traveling all over the world. She was a proud graduate of UTEP and enjoyed several entrepreneurial enterprises with her late husband. She was a devout Catholic, dedicated to the service of others and the exemplification of John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you". She was young at heart, giving, kind, loving and will be greatly missed by all of her family. Mom, we love you more. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 11:30am at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
