Lionel P. Martinez

Lionel P. Martinez, 76, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, peacefully went home with the Lord on March 25, 2014. He was a hard working man who retired from the El Paso Independent School District. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Maria Louisa Martinez and children, Sandra Maynard, Nelda Munoz, Deborah Martinez, LaNell Herrera and Lionel Martinez Jr., grandchildren; Jeffery Munoz, Richard Henry Maynard, Syndy Maynard, Adam Herrera, Faith Herrera and Ava Martinez, great grandchildren, Azzy Munoz, Anthony Munoz and Xyla Maynard. Visitation will be from 4pm-9pm with a Vigil at 7 pm, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 1 pm Monday, March 31, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
