Our beautiful and gentle Margaret (Meg) Ellen Haddox is finally at peace after a long illness. Meg was born on July 2, 1961 and passed away on April 19, 2014. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Hermilo Mendoza, and her paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Haddox, as well as her loving brother, Thomas. Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her too short life are parents, Prof. John and Carmen Haddox, her sisters Christina (John), Raissa (Colin), Grace (Basilio), and Madeleine. She is also survived by brothers John (Elizabeth), Charles (Lizbeth), Robert (Karissa), and Richard (Melinda), and her fiancé, Joseph Regalado, and their cherished dog, Noah. She also had one niece, Nicole, and nine nephews, Mark, Ian, Timothy, Stuart, Nicholas, Peter, Roy, Jacob, and Colin, and numerous other relatives. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Providence Hospital, especially Dr. Jesus A. Hernandez who was so conscientious of Meg’s comfort and care while she was ill. Memorial Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00am on Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a charitable donation be made to La Mariposa Hospice at Providence Hospital, 2001 N. Oregon St., El Paso, TX 79902, or From the Heart Rescue, P.O. Box 56, Canutillo, TX 79835. While we will miss Meg’s beautiful and joyful presence, we find comfort that she is finally resting.
