Margarita M. Serna

Margarita Serna, 87, passed away December 2, 2014. She was a proud wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Serna was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus M. Serna. Mrs. Serna is survived by her sons: Jesus R. Serna (Gracie), Tomas Serna (Leticia) (Martha †), Fernando Serna (Dora) and Jaime Serna; daughter, Rosie Serna; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Luis Matamoros and sister Cuca Wineka. A Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 8:15 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 10970 Bywood Dr. Burial will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
