Maria Rosario Martinez

Maria Rosario Martinez passed away December 27, 2008 at age 69. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Fidencio Martinez. She is survived by sons David G.Martinez and Luis G. Martinez, Daughter, Beatrice “Betty”Martinez-Bigler, daughter -in-law Martha Martinez, and son-in-law Bob Bigler. Regarded by the love and respect of her family. Additional survivors include brothers Hector Gallegos, Arturo Gallegos and “Pilo” Profirio Gallegos, sisters Beatriz Gomez and Yolanda Gardea. Grandchildren, Dustin Martinez, Erica Martinez, Damiana Martinez, Ashley Ramirez and Shania Bigler and great grand Children Makaia and Ariana Mosley. You do not get to choose how you are going to die or when; you can only decide how you are going to live. You lived life teaching each of us what it meant to be honorable and true to your beliefs. We long remember the lessons in life and will never forget your gentle kindness and love. “We love you Rosario”. Visitation will be at 5:00-9:00 pm with a Vigil at 7:00 pm December 30, 2008 in the Chapel of Remembrance at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Funeral mass will be at 10:30 am December 31, 2008 at St. Matthews Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
