Mark Allen Arreola, 55, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 after a taxi he was traveling in was hit by a drunk driver in the Houston area. He was born June 3, 1958 in El Paso, to Frank "Javier" Arreola and Leah Arreola. He was preceded in death by his mother Leah Arreola. He is survived by his daughter, Candice Adrienne Talamante (Phillip); grandson, Phillip, Jr.; sisters, Therisa "Caprise" Arreola (Scott) and Kelly Lynn Arreola; brothers, Patrick Allen Arreola and Julian Michael Arreola; nieces Chloe Elise Arreola, Alexa Lynn Jones, Tori Elizabeth Jones; his girlfriend Sylvia Banda and her children; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He graduated from Andress High School, attended U.T.E.P., served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed playing in 2 rock bands, "Sanctuary" in El Paso and "Bang" in the San Francisco Bay area. At the time of his passing, he was the Director of Nutrition at Vibra Specialty Hospital. Although Mark was taken from us far too soon, he lived life to the fullest. He was known to always celebrate love, life, family and friendship. He was a wonderful father/grandfather/uncle who loved rooting for his beloved U.T.E.P. Miners and Dallas Cowboys, cooking and sitting in from time to time with local bands to sing a few songs. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm with a Rosary at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A celebration of his life will be held thereafter at Great American Land and Cattle Company located at 7600 Alabama St., El Paso, Texas 79904 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
