Mark Allan Capps

Mark Allan Capps beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on October 6, 2014. Mark was born on October 5, 1972 in Stuttgart, Germany and lived his life in El Paso, Texas where he met his wonderful wife Pattie. Together they became successful business owners and were blessed with five beautiful children: Ariel Capps, Mark Capps, Jr., Curtis Capps, Justin Capps, and Matthew Capps. Mark’s life was filled with many loves in addition to his family. He loved to travel; he took great joy in coaching his fab 5 team and cherished the times he could get away for camping or enjoying the lake with his family and friends. Mark was a caring boss and truly loved his staff. Mark is survived by his mother, Rosa Capps; his brother, David Capps; and his sisters, Rose Register, Linda Vega, Elizabeth Brantley, Wanda Taylor, Tina Capps and Jennifer Capps along with 28 nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in death by his father Curtis Capps and his brother Steve Capps. Mark will be missed dearly by all those that knew him. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast on Hondo Pass. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church 4805 Byron St. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. His pall bearers are: David, Lion, Ronald, Joe, Oscar, Felix, Juvy and Frank. Honorary pall bearers are: Mark Jr., CJ, Justin, Matthew, Joe, Reece, Vinny and Lance.
