Merced Jimenez

MERCED JIMENEZ JR. passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the age of 87. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was very proud of his service in United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He received numerous commendations including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star with Valor and the Korean Service Medal. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Valles Lujan. He is survived by his son Demetro Jimenez and his wife Leticia, his loving grandchildren; Jennifer Baeza, Isaac Jimenez, Joshua Jimenez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Service will held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 9:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30AM, with Military Honors.
