Mia Denise Brown

Mia Denise Brown, age 46, May 12, 1968 – February 12, 2015. Mia leaves to cherish memories, her only son, Rodney Lee Amison Jr.; and two sisters, Renee Singlton and Joetta Harris; and special sister Tonya Brown. Mia was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to El Paso, Texas in 1985 where she graduated from Andress High School, Class of 86. Mia worked for the department of Defense at Aafes in Fort Bliss, Texas where she proudly served the service members. In 2010, Mia Brown married the love of her life, Louis Thomas. Mia enjoyed life to the fullest. She joined The Rock Faith Christian Church where she worshipped every Sunday and loved her congregation. She also loved traveling and socializing. Mia was a very lovable and respectful woman Mia will be a truly missed by all. We love you Mia Brown. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at The Rock Faith Christian Church, 11201 Armour Dr, 79935. Interment is private.
