Mildred Waddles

Mildred “Millie” Waddles, 69, passed away at her home peacefully on July 31, 2017. She was born on March 17, 1948 to the late Luvenia and Clifton Leufroy Sr. She was a happy and dedicated wife to the late Leothonia Waddles. Family and friends were Mildred’s passion and delight. She always placed the needs of others above her own. Mildred is survived by her son Michael Paul Brown; one daughter Michele Tate (Ronnie Tate Sr.); Two sisters Ruby Simon and Pearl Butler; one brother Clifton Leufroy Jr; 4 grandchildren Mariah Brown (Dwight Johnson), Miya Parsons, Ronnie Tate Jr., and Keelon Tate; 2 great grandchildren Djamani and Makai Johnson; Two nephews Corey and Brian Butler; 6 nieces Tammy Simon, Staci Slijepcevic, Tanjanell Simon-King; Cordelia Samuel, Shantel Penn and Wendy Shelton. Additionally, she leaves behind many cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on August 7, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast – 4631 Hondo Pass. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
