Orin "Pete" Craig Peterson

Orin “Pete” Craig Peterson, 70, passed away on May 03, 2018. Pete was born on April 27, 1948. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Vivian Peterson. He is survived by, as he said, “the love of his life,” Cathy; brother and sisters, Bruce, Sue and Judy (Roger); his fur baby Barney; Step-children, Cally (Andre), Charles, Angela and Audrey; and grandchildren, Charles and Landon. Pete honorably served his country, retiring as a SSG and went on to work for Raytheon and Siemens. Pete loved California, especially his San Diego Padres and San Diego Chargers. He never got over the Chargers move to Los Angeles. Pete loved riding his motorcycle and some of his best memories are of his rides with Mike, Wayne, Roland and Ricky; his friends who were more like brothers to him. Our family would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Hospice of El Paso and their loving and supportive staff; Dr. Cordova; and Mountain View Dermatology. Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Monday, May 07, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will begin at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 08, 2018 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
