Oscar Salcedo

Oscar Salcedo, 63, passed away November 19, 2017 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife; Alicia Salcedo, son; Oscar L.Salcedo, daughters; Christina, Cynthia and Elisa Salcedo, six grandchildren; Jaylen M. Day, Angel Chavez, Lily, Miriam, Mia and Oscar F. Salcedo, brothers; Ricardo (Monica), Javier (Jenny), Ruben (Norma), sisters; Yolanda, Delia (Ray) and Norma (Bobby). Oscar was born on October 31, 1954 to Modesta and Oscar P. Salcedo. He grew up in Ysleta where he met his wife of 41 years. They made their home in Socorro and raised their four children. He was a loving father and a strong provider for his family. He was often laughing and sharing stories with his brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed spending his time with his grandkids. Oscar retired from Phelps Dodge Refinery after 34 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Services are private and are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
