Paul A. Irwin

Paul A. Irwin, 77, of El Paso passed away October 14, 2014. He was born in Rising Sun, MD to Thomas and Louisa Irwin. He is preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. He is survived by his wife Suki, and daughters Marci Irwin StCyr, Alissa (Manny) Saenz, grandchildren Noah, Isabel, Nadia, and Benjamin, as well as several brothers- and sisters-in-law. Paul retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of Sergeant Major with 26 years of service. He also retired from Civil Service at Fort Bliss. He was active in the El Paso Woodworkers Club and often donated his time and talents to his church and community. Visitation will be from 9-11am on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
