Raymond Robert Ciceri

December 1, 1930 — April 2, 2015

Raymond Robert Ciceri 12/01/1930- 04/02/2015 Raymond Robert Ciceri was received into Our Lord's loving arms April 2, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who had many loyal friends from a lifetime of hard work. Born in Marion Heights, PA on December 1, 1930, Raymond was one of four children of Dominic and Celeste Z. Ciceri. As a young man, Ray left home to enter into the U.S. Air Force where he proudly and dutifully served his country participating in the Berlin Airlift, the testing of the "Eniwetok A Bomb" and the test and perfection of in-flight refueling of U.S. aircraft. While stationed at Biggs Air Field, he met the love of his life, and loving wife Alice Rodriguez. They married on May 3rd, 1953; thus, would have celebrated 62 years of marriage this May. In May 1955, Ray was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force and went on to work as an accountant with the El Paso Natural Gas Company. After 30 years of steadfast and faithful service, Ray returned from EPNG, Accounting Dept. and began to enjoy his retirement by doing woodworking projects and travelling throughout Europe and the United States visiting their four daughters. Ray will be remembered for his telling of many great stories about the life and times of growing up in Central Pennsylvania and his dedicated years in the Air Force. Leaving behind to cherish his beautiful memory is his soul mate and beloved wife of 62 years, Alice R. Ciceri of El Paso, Texas; and four daughters, Lorraine, Sharon, Denise and Diana; 3 devoted son-in-laws, Tom, Armando and Edmundo. Also among his survivors are six much loved grandchildren, Jessica (Eric), Jennifer (Kjetil), Michaela, Dylan, Brandon and Ethan, and one great grandchild Henley Marie. Ray is also survived by his sister Rita Machausak and two nieces; MaryAnn Dupnock and Marlene Machusak, from NY and PA respectively. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Thomas Arnold, Armando Barrozo, Edmundo Terrazas, Eric Lambert and Kjetil Monreal.
