Reddie Devorn Harris

Rita Devorn Harris went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2014. On October 19, 1974 Rita married the love of her life Roy Lee Harris. They were married for 39 years and 10 months and to that union 3 children were born: Jacques (Carla), Jara (Elsa) and Shavon all of El Paso, Texas; One stepdaughter Kimberly Moore of Jackson, MS; 4 brothers, Ray Prickett and Shelby Thorton preceded her in death, Clevis (Sita) of Hazelhurst, MS, Vince (Lynn) of Crystal Springs, MS; 4 sisters, Valarie, Cindy (Kenny), Venessa and Connie McGowan all of Crystal Springs, MS; 4 sisters in law, Sandra Pickett of Crystal Springs, MS, Marylee Harris of Crystal Springs, MS, Puline Harris of Chicago, IL, Linda (jack) Sturgis of Detriot, MI; 4 grandchildren, Jawan, Javon, Amelia, Raejay; 8 step grandchildren, Mariah, David, Marquis, Era, Jeanine, Steve, Princess, Angel; 1 step great grandchild, Aden; 10 aunts; 6 uncles; 2 great aunts; 1 great uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Northeast Bible Fellowship Church. Committal Service will follow at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
