Rene L. Chavez, 70, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Irma Varela Chavez; son, Rene G. Chavez, Ivan Chavez, and Maximiliano Chavez; daughter, Karla I. Chavez; and 7 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo Chavez and Refugio Duron. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment is Private. Please visit our online register book www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
