Reynaldo T. Fabela

Reynaldo T. Fabela, a beloved son, husband, and grandfather, was called home to our Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2014. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones at the time of his passing. Reynaldo was a life long resident of El Paso. He was born and raised in El Paso, where he graduated from Jesuit High School in 1960. He joined the U.S. Army, serving in Korea during the Vietnam War and later continuing to serve his country thru the reserves. He earned a bachelors degree in Education and Masters degree in Education and Counseling, all from the University of Texas at El Paso. Reynaldo was a dedicated counselor for the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. He retired after serving over twenty years. Reynaldo is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Alicia; daughters, Monica Fabela-Heri (Anthony), Laura Fabela, Adriana Avila (Paul); grandchildren, Michael Heri, Alexandria Heri, Arielle Heri, Aram Aidan Vela, Alyson Avila, Paul Joseph Rey Avila; his mother, Lucila; and brother, Luis Trejo. -
