Rita S. Casillas

Rita Serna Casillas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, 92, of El Paso , Texas surrounded by her loving family went to be joined with the Lord on November 11, 2013. She is survived by her sister Natalia Rey and children Benny Casillas, Angelina Garcia, Bertha Urquidi, Gloria Casillas, Delia Montanez, Flora Bryan and John Casillas. Preceded in death by her loving husband Juan Casillas, brothers Rafael Serna, Rodolfo Serna and sister Lencha Castaneda. Rita had 26 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; 8 great, great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 6 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Old Mission). Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
