Robert J. Heavilon “Bobby”, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend was called home to our heavenly father on May 5, 2014. Born January 13, 1943 to Beecher “Bob” and Lucille Heavilon in Frankfort, Indiana. Bobby grew up in El Paso. He graduated from Ysleta High School and then went on to attend Texas Western College (UTEP) where he obtained a degree in broadcasting. Over the years, he worked for KTSM Channel 9 as their TV Director, was an instructor at Western Technical Institute, manager at the Diplomat Apartments, Care provider at The El Paso State Center and Life Management Center. After he retired, he helped his daughter and son–in-law at their business, Total Orthotic & Prosthetic Solutions.
He is survived by his loving daughter Susan Guerra and son-in-law Miguel “Mike”Guerra. His pride and joy, his 3 beautiful grandchildren Joseph, Alaina and Madelyn Guerra. His Sister Joan Pacha and brother-in-law Leonard. His Nephew Robert Pacha (Missy, Anna B, Caroline, Brabson) and Niece Laura Pacha. He also had two step-daughters Lyn Dee Perry (David, Desiree) and Brenda Elkins (Charles, Breanna, Rocky).
He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and compassion for others. He was truly a man that dedicated his life to his family. He will be greatly missed.
