Roseanna D. Zurovetz

Roseanna D. Zurovetz passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 93. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed. She proudly served her country in the United States Army Women’s Corps (WAC) from 1952-1954. After completing her Military service, she then worked as a Nurse’s Aide with Southwestern General Hospital and William Beaumont Army Medical Center for a total of 42 years of medical service. She is preceded in death by her husband August G. Zurovetz, and her parents Mary Arnold and Charles Deibler. She is survived by her children; William Zurovetz and Eileen Gattis (David); and beloved grandchildren Ryan and Caitlyn Gattis, and several nieces and nephews from Pennsylvania. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Aussi, Dr. Deluca, and Marjorie Coover for the care they gave to our mother. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4800 Byron. Committal Service to follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast.
