Ruben Frausto

Ruben Frausto, 45, passed away on March 10, 2015. Mr. Frausto worked as a Planning Manager for Epson and previously worked for Scientific Atlanta as a buyer/planner. He graduated from Burgess High School in 1987 and went on to receive his Bachelors in Business Administration and Finance from UTEP in 1995. He received his Masters in Business Administration and Global Management in 2004 from University of Phoenix. He was an all-around athlete who enjoyed power lifting, golfing, hunting, fishing, 5K runs, and coached city league football. His latest hobby was riding with the El Paso HOGs. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rosie, their daughter Brittany Brooks and grandson Jacob, mother Erminia, brothers Larry, Fabian and Daniel. Known to his friends as “Bear” and “Frosty”, he will be remembered for his kind heart and quiet and cheerful disposition. For those who knew him best, he was quick witted and playfully sarcastic. He was an amazing man who touched many lives and will be greatly missed. His memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at Del Sol Church on Monday, March 16th at 5:00 -6:30 pm at 11501 Vista del Sol. Services Entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
