Thomas Franklin Wauson

Thomas Franklin Wauson, Sr., devoted husband of 66 years, father of four, grandfather of 12, great-grandfather of 14, and great-great-grandfather of three joined the chorus of heavenly angels on December 7, 2014. Tom, a true Texan through and through, was born in North Pleasanton, Texas on May 31, 1928. He later served his country in the United States Navy, served The Lord as a permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church for 34 years, and served his family with countless moments of laughter and his cherished smile. Tom will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and the community for his unshaken integrity and his heart of gold. Tom is survived by his wife Marjorie Wauson, his sister Helen Broyles, and his children Thomas Wauson, Jr. and his wife, Renee; Barbara Humphrey and her husband, Kevin; Michael and his wife, Tiffany; and Patrick and his wife, Ruth. A Memorial Service/Rosary will be at 7:00pm on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00am on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church. Inurnment to follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
