Todd Wayne Dorethy passed away on June 11, 2018. Todd was born in Pekin, Illinois. His step-father’s military career brought him and his family to El Paso, where he attended and graduated from Parkland High School. Soon after graduating high school, Todd met his soon to be wife Rebecca. He made his home and life in El Paso with his wife and their three sons.
Todd began his City of El Paso career in October of 1993 when he started working for Sun Metro as a Transit Coach Operator. In March of 2008 Todd was selected and promoted to Facility Maintenance Worker for General Services and he retired in June 2017.
Todd’s greatest joy was his family; his wife Rebecca, sons Todd Jr., Joshua and Nathan, grandson Bruce and his daughters at heart, Marcela and Janelle. Although he lost his life too soon, his memory will live on in the loved ones he leaves behind.
