Tommie L. Watrous, 73, born October 28, 1941 in Houston and passed away January 19, 2015 in El Paso. Tommie proudly served in the United States Air Force, He was in business for himself, owning and operating the T L Watrous Agency in El Paso, Texas since 1983. Tommie’s greatest enjoyment was as a Liaison Officer to the Air Force Academy, where he worked with many young people in guiding them through the process of getting appointments to the Academy. He also served on the Congressman’s nominating committee to the Air Force Academy. He enjoyed camping, riding his quad and fishing with his friends. Tommie is survived by his sister, Bunny Harvey and her family, his children, Ron Watrous and Adrienne Six, His nephew Bill Watrous, his niece and nephew Grace and Tommy Nicholson and as he called him his Nephew Nephew, Tommy A. Nicholson, and their Uncle Leland DeFord III and many dear friends. Donations can be made in Honor/Memory of Tom to the AFA Association of Graduates at A Committal Service will be held on Friday February 6, 2015 at 1:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
