Valentin R. Beltran

Valentin Beltran, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Valentin was a combat veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from White Sands Missile Range. Valentin was a very religious man. Valentin is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carlota; his children Esther and Abel Gutierrez, Daniel and Mary Beltran, and Javier and Norma Beltran; grandchildren Jason, Monica, Amanda, Gabriel, Eric, Jonathan, Alyssa, and Alexis; five great-grandchildren; three siblings; and several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. A committal service will follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
