William James Bedaro

April 2, 1934 — June 2, 2014

William “Bill” Bedaro, 80, passed away on June 2, 2014 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born and raised in New Jersey later to become a resident of El Paso, Texas. As a young man, Bill joined and honorable served our country in the U.S. Army for 30 years. His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him a Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnamese Cross of Galantry with Palm. While serving in the U.S. Army he had also earned a National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Air Medal. After his discharge, he went on to retire from Pinkerton Security. Bill never met a stranger and was known for his generosity to anyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed. Bill is survived by his wife, Irma Bedaro; children, Ricardo Rios, Jeannette Flack, Rene Rios, and Marie Valdez; grandchildren, Melissa, Macy, Gabriel, Erica (preceded in death), Mandy, Jessica, Carlos, Joey, Anee, and Bre; great grandchildren, Brandon, Angelina, Alicia, Michael, Destiny, Boy, and Soledad. Scripture Service will be held on Monday June 9, 2014 at 2:00pm Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Full Military Honors will be rendered. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
