Abraham "Cano" Gomez, 90, passed away August 17, 2019 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria de Jesus Gomez, his loving wife, Margarita Gomez, son, Jesus Manuel Gomez, brother, Cruz Gomez, and sister, Aurelia Rodriguez. Abraham is survived by his daughter, Corina Gomez, sons, Gerardo Gomez, Abraham Gomez, Jr., Javier Gomez, Fernando Gomez, Oscar Gomez, sister, Maria Porras, 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a vigil/rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, August 26, 2019 will be at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar. A committal service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
