Adelina Rueda

Adelina Rueda, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on October 26, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born and raised in San Elizario, Texas. Adelina was preceeded in death by her husband, Enrique S. Rueda, her brother, Armando Trujillo, and her sister, Amelia Rueda. She is survived by two daughters, Rowena Garcia, husband Manuel, and Veronica Duran, husband Gilbert, and by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by sisters Elena Rueda, Olga Hernandez, Carolina Alba, Edelmira Tujillo, Rebecca Dominguez, husband Louie, and her brother Pedro Trujillo, wife Romelia, and numerous nieces and nephews. We are grateful to La Mariposa Hospice and to the Doctors and Nurses at Providence East. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Adam Garcia, Mark Garcia, Gilbert Duran, Christopher Duran, Joshua Duran, and Samuel Duran. Adelina devoted her entire life to her children and grandchildren and she will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.,Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held the following day at St Mark Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
