ALICIA G. JAMES entered into the hands of her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 69. She was a loving daughter, mother, Meemaw, and sister and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Salvador Garcia and Bertha Montes Tavarez; and her dearest husband Glenn Robert James. She is survived by her beloved step-father Alejandro Tavarez, her loving daughters; Lisa James Torres, Margaret Ann James, Samantha Lee James; her loving grandchildren; Delilah Marie Torres, Bertha Berlin Torres and Adam Blu James Morales; and her beloved siblings; Martha Carrera, Irene Rubio, Aurora Hernandez, Lupe Barrera, Rosa Arzola, Antonio Garcia, Daniel Garcia. She is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor her memory. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 6:30PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10:30AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 400 W. Sunset Rd. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM. Pallbearers; Antonio Garcia Sr., Daniel Garcia, Daniel Antonio Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Abraham Garcia, Fernando Barrera Jr.; Honorary Pallbearer; Adam Blu James Morales.
